Initial dues can be paid via credit card or check.

NASP dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution, but may be deductible as a business expense, subject to restrictions pertaining to lobbying activities. NASP estimates that the portion of dues and other similar amounts that relate to lobbying is ten percent.
